Here at Drone Finder, we wanted to provide a simple solution for members of the public to help return lost and found drones back to their owners. We feel that this service can provide drone owners with a level of comfort knowing that if they are registered with Drone Finder and if the drone has been lost and then found and the unique operator id has been scanned, there is a high chance that it can be returned.

It’s unfortunate but it does happen, drones sometimes have a mind of their own, they can be attacked by birds, we fly too close to branches or are flown further away than expected and due to battery or weather conditions, they sometimes don’t manage to make it back. It happens to us all at some point.

This is where Drone Finder steps in.

If you take out a subscription with Drone Finder, we will then register your Operator ID in our global database and then post out a unique operator id sticker for your drone. Within your profile you also have an option to register your drone as lost, where you can also enter a lost location and a date. Once this has been processed our website will update showing a list of lost drones and locations.

The advantage of our QR Coded Operator ID Stickers is that its more likely to be scanned by someone who has found your drone. Once scanned they are taken to a page on our website where they can enter the operator id, name and contact details. Once this has been submitted our system will perform a search based on the operator id and once it makes a match, it will then email the drone owner asking them to log into their account.

When the drone owner logs into their account they will be presented with the contact details of the drone finder.

We offer low cost and affordable subscriptions, all subscriptions can be cancelled at any time.
